Bookkeeper Allegedly Steals Thousands From Minnesota Church
A bookkeeper is accused of stealing nearly $200,000 from a Minnesota Catholic church.
Thirty-seven–year–old Ryan McFarland is charged with nine counts of theft by swindle.
A criminal complaint says McFarland transferred funds from St. Theodore Catholic Church in Albert Lea to her personal accounts.
McFarland is scheduled in court on April 28.
The church’s losses are covered by insurance.
