North Dakota Deer Hunters Had a Successful 2015 Season

North Dakota hunters had a successful deer season last year.

Game and Fish says that 68 percent of deer hunters bagged an animal last fall, compared to only 60 percent in 2014.

This data increases the chances of more licenses being made available for the 2016 season.

The state issued just over 43,000 licenses for 2015, the lowest amount in nearly 40 years.

Game and Fish will send its recommendation for the number of available licenses for 2016 later this month.
