Dust From Dry Pea Plant Causes a Dust-Up In Crary

Dust from a dry pea processing plant is causing problems for residents in Crary.

The Dakota Dry Bean plant is located in the northeastern North Dakota town of about 150 people.

Residents of the town are frustrated with what they say is the worst case of dust covering their homes and vehicles in a decade.

A Health Department inspection in February found the facility in compliance with air quality laws.
