Suspect in Shakopee Double Homicide Found Dead After Standoff
Shakopee police say that the suspect in a double–homicide killed himself after a standoff with police in Waseca.
Police identified the suspect as the victims’ 40–year–old son.
Authorities found the mother’s car outside the suspect’s home.
When authorities went to the house, the suspect barricaded himself inside.
Police found him inside hours later dead of a self–inflicted gunshot wound.
The names of the victims and suspect have not been released.
