City of Fargo Asks Residents To Use Their Toilets Responsibly

The City of Fargo wants to remind residents that toilets are not meant to be used as trash cans.

The city says when inappropriate items are flushed into the system, backups can occur.

Even if an item is labeled as “flushable”, it may not disperse after being flushed.

These items can cause blockages and restrict flow, which lead to environmental problems that can be expensive to clean up.
