Webb Sentenced To Prison For Shooting At Police, Robbery
An Iowa man who engaged police in a shootout after robbing a downtown Fargo motel has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Thirty–year–old Eric Webb, of Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty in January to three counts, including use of a firearm during a crime of violence.
Authorities say Webb fired a gun into the front desk of the Howard Johnson motel during the June 4 robbery and later shot at two police officers.
Prosecutors say Webb has shown no regret for his actions during the sentencing hearing.
