Missing Grand Forks Man Found Safe

Grand Forks police say they have located the person who may have gone missing in the Red River on July 22nd.

They say a person anonymously reached out to them saying they were the swimmer witnesses saw struggling in the current just north of the Sorlie Bridge.

After further questioning, police say the person is safe and no further investigation is being done.

The Grand Forks Police Department says they appreciate the tips from the community in helping locate the individual.
