Bell State Bank & Trust Hosts Ag Finance Speaker
The Bell State Bank and Trust is hosting Agriculture Finance speaker Dr.David Kohl.
People gather at the Courtyard by Marriott in Moorhead to hear about how they can take steps to succeed as farmers.
Dr. David Kohl is a professor at Virginia Tech and has years of experience working with agribusiness.
Bell State Bank thinks the public will especially benefit from this because of the hit farming has taken.
“I think we will be looking at what kind of impact agriculture has to the region, I think sometimes in the Fargo-Moorhead area we kind of lose sight on how big of a role agriculture really does play. I don’t think virtually there’s anybody in the community who isn’t touched in some manner or some fashion in terms of the ag economy and the things it does for the area,” said Lynn Paulson of Bell State Bank and Trust.
This is the second year the bank has hosted this workshop.
