MSUM Has First Job Fair for Communications and Media Students

more than 20 employers showed up the the fair

MOORHEAD, Minn. — It’s never too early to start making connections.

That’s why MSUM held their first job fair for communications and media students.

More than 20 employers came to the university to meet the students, including KVRR.

Aside from news stations, ad agencies, public relations and theater organizations were all represented at the fair.

“I think it’s important because I think if you get yourself out there networking and meeting people in those fields, you can get a better idea about what you maybe want to do in the future or perhaps it might open some doors you didn’t realize were there,” said Jami Crummy, MSUM jobs administrator.

Crummy says based on the response from MSUM’s campus for the job fair, they plan to hold other ones for different majors.
