Woman Fatally Assaulted, Man Injured, 1 in Custody
Authorities say there is no threat to the public's safety.
MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (AP) _ Police say a man is in custody after a Maple Grove woman was found fatally injured and another man was severely hurt in an apparent domestic assault.
The Star Tribune says officers responding to a lakeside home about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday found a man and woman with severe head trauma. Authorities began CPR on the woman, but she died at the scene.
The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A second man at the house was arrested.
Authorities say there is no threat to the public’s safety.
