Fargo Police respond to shots fired overnight

FARGO, ND – Fargo Police report that they responded to another gunshot report in the 1000 block of 16th Street North Sunday morning.

Just before 6:30, officers were dispatched to gunshots in the area. Upon their arrival, they did not locate a victim or suspect.

Nearly 20 minutes later Sanford Hospital notified dispatch they had an adult male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Officers learned this injury was sustained in the 1000 block of 16 Street North.

The report comes after a similar event that happened around 3:30 am.

Police have not said whether or not the 2 incidents are related, the investigation is ongoing.
