Drugs, weapon and money seized from stolen vehicle in Mahnomen County, two men arrested
MAHNOMEN CO., Minn. (KVRR) — Two men jailed in Crookston are awaiting charges after being found with a stolen vehicle along with drugs and a weapon in Mahnomen County.
Deputies located the vehicle at a home west of Roy Lake on Monday.
When they approached, one man tried to run but was caught.
28-year-old Darius Barnes of Onamia and 23-year-old Alejandro Sanchez of Mahnomen were arrested.
A search of the vehicle uncovered nearly 12 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, over $4,000 in cash and an AR style rifle.
