A $1 million bond is set against the man charged with sexually assaulting an employee at a Mapleton convenience store. Abdulrahman Ali, 35, is charged with gross sexual imposition, aggravated assault and terrorizing, all felonies. He allegedly attacked a woman working at Gordy’s Travel Center in Mapleton shortly before six A-M Wednesday. Assistant Cass County State’s Attorney Ryan Younggren says the woman, who had never seen Ali before, was punched and kicked during the attack. He says Ali ripped the women’s clothes off and both of them were naked when deputies finally managed to break down the door of a restroom the two had been barricaded in.
