Meow! My name is Buttons and I’m one friendly, sweet guy! I love talking and rubbing up all over people. On my first day at the shelter, I was already making friends with everyone. I am a two year old handsome dude who can’t wait to find my forever home. I would do well with a family who loves to play! My favorite toys are string and feather toys–I mean, who wouldn’t want to chase those around all day?! If you are looking to add some sweetness to your family, you’ve found your boy!
** Diggs has been diagnosed with arthritis in his back and narrowing disc space between some of his vertebrae. Diggs may require occasional acupuncture and chiropractic treatments to manage his back pain. The cost of the acupuncture/chiropractic treatments are every 2-4 months and is around $160.
A few things that are great about me: I love my kennel and feel safer here when my humans are gone. I can sit and shake your hand very well! I get along great with my foster siblings (big and small!). Oh, did I mention I love taking naps?! You should know that I have a sore back sometimes but it can be fixed by a chiropractor and after a few days, I’m back to normal.
I don’t care for leashes too much, but if a leash is what you want me to try, just give me a little time and I can change! I like to be close to my foster parents. I am nervous when I meet new people but have come so far in the past year. When I meet new people sometimes I will bark, but I have not bitten anyone or anything. I am potty-trained and have escaped from my backyard with a fence (I know…I’ll try to do better) but I always come back when you call me! But if the fence is taller, I won’t try to get out. Well, I hope you will consider me as a potential new member of your family!
Diggs is a 2.5 year old Shepherd Mix.
