Authorities Ask for Help Identifying Semi Connected to Kvalvog Crash

The Minnesota State Patrol is asking for help identifying a Semi and driver wanted in connection to the June 23rd crash that killed two Moorhead brothers near Dalton, Minnesota.

The semitrailer is believed to be a late-‘80s to mid-‘90s Kenworth tractor, Model T600 to T800, with an Aerodyne sleeper and dark blue cab.

The tractor has what appears to be a KW T680 Grille Guard or similar. Photographs shows one radiator, or grill bar, running vertically from the hood ornament straight down.

The license plate has a sequence of numbers of either 024 or 025, most likely at the end of the plate sequence. The state of registration is unknown. The trailer is white with no visible markings.

14-year-old Connor and 18-year-old Zach Kvalvog were killed when Zach lost control of the 2010 Dodge Ram he was driving while they were attempting to pass a semi.

The Park Christian basketball players were on their way to Wisconsin for a camp.

If anyone locates or knows of a vehicle matching this description, they are asked to call Sgt. Rod Eischens at 218-846-8244 or email Rod.Eischens@state.mn.us.
