Francis Ochiti Makes Court Appearance

Bail is set for a Fargo man in involved in a robbery of a Casey’s general store.

Francis Ochiti is being charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. His bail has been set at $30,000 cash.

Ochiti and multiple others were involved in the robbery of the Casey’s General store on south university last week.

Law enforcement is still gathering evidence for the cases.

Assistant Cass County State’s Attorney Tristan Van de Streek says, “It’s very early in the preceding. Obviously armed robberies are cases that we take very seriously. They represent a significant public safety hazard in the community. We intend to proceed with the cases and present our evidence in court.”

Ochiti is expected to be back in court next month. He is currently being held at the Cass County jail.
