Plow Truck Driver Slides Into Ditch

A plow truck driver is also hurt after he slid into a ditch just west of Wheaton.

42-year-old Dan Seifert was driving west on highway 27 dropping sand and salt just after 7 this morning.

The truck entered a curve and slid into a ditch, rolling over on its side. He was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

The roads were reported as icy.
