HockeyFest 2015

Kids were out of school for the holiday and on the ice for Hockeyfest in the metro.

Scheel’s Arena along with the Fargo and West Fargo Park Districts teamed up to host a hockey-filled day.

The free event had carnival games, crafts and a free open skating.

Kids were able to skate and receive autographs from the Fargo Force players.

The event began with a free showing of Mighty Ducks 3.

The hockey event was for kids to have fun while keeping active.

Director of Fargo District Recreation Clay Whittlesey said, “Socialize, get out in public, be physically active, be around other kids be around adults and it’s just a big part to get youth involved in these types of things.

Almost 500 kids attended Hockeyfest 2015.
