Democrats Push for All-Day Daycare
Free all-day kindergarten just started in Minnesota, now Senate Democrats want all-day preschool.
It’s estimated doing so would cost the state about $170 million that year.
Governor Dayton has said he’ll include new money for preschool programs in his budget proposal.
Enrollment would be voluntary.
