Fargo Coffee With A Cop

The Fargo Police Department joins a nationwide trend of sharing a cup of coffee with the public.

On the last Wednesday of every month police will host “Coffee With A Cop” at the McDonald’s in downtown Fargo.

The event is an opportunity for officers and community members to come together, discuss community issues and build relationships.

Everyone is invited, and the coffee is free.

“We need to have that relationship with our community and we’ve always had a community oriented policing based department but this is just another way just like our community picnic or any other event where we can be out there on more of a personal level with our community,” said Crime Prevention Officer Jessica Schindeldecker.

Officer Schindeldecker helped organize the event in Fargo.
