Fatal Jamestown Accident Names Released

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released names of those involved in a fatal head-on crash near Jamestown Monday morning.
 
Sixty-one-year-old David Herold, of Garfield, Minnesota, was killed when 18-year-old Ashley Birkle, of Killdeer, fell asleep at the wheel, crossed the median and crashed into his pickup.

Birkle and a 35-year-old Dalton man who was a passenger in the pickup were taken to the Jamestown hospital with injuries that weren’t life threatening.
