Ron Offutt Being Inducted
Potato farmer, businessman and philanthropist Ron Offutt, of Fargo, is being inducted into the North Dakota Agriculture Hall of Fame.
Offutt is the founder of R.D. Offutt Co., the nation’s largest producer of potatoes, and RDO Equipment Co., the largest network of John Deere construction and agricultural equipment dealerships in the U.S.
He will join the hall along with John Bollingberg of Bremen, who founded Northland Seed Co.
The induction ceremony will take place during the North Dakota Winter Show March 3-8 in Valley City.
