Many in the area are looking forward to some home improvements thanks to the Fargo Remodeling Expo.

Along with window blinds the Fargo Remodeling Expo helped give many in the area ideas about cabinets, counter tops and decking.
Mike Wollschlager is at the expo with his wife looking to make a few changes to his home in Moorhead.
He’s done a few projects but could always use more ideas.

“Looking for an area outside so we can spend time with the family out, landscaping, possibly a fire pit area so we can all get together out there, hang out,” said Wollschlager of Moorhead.

The three day event brought thousands to the Fargo Civic Center.

“We do promote everything in one spot, if you want to do any type of home improvement or landscaping you’ll have it all here under one roof,” said L & L Exhibitions Show Manager Susan Stevens.

Over 70 vendors came to the expo and they all represented different kinds of home improvements.

“Z zipper screens here, they’re made for like garage doors or oval windows,” said Phil Warren with Eclipse Shading Systems.

“A clog free unit, what it is, it’s an alternative to a homeowner getting up on the roof,” said Dylan Pallansch with LeafGuard Gutters.

Deb Beckett is building a new home in Barnesville with her husband.
They have been together for over 30 years.

“It’s kind of nice just to have ideas all together different companies that maybe have the same type of services,” said Beckett.

A chance for homeowners like Wollschlager to jazz up their homes with ease.

This was the second year for the remodeling expo and it is expected to return next year.
