The Thomas Bearson case has more and more elements that are coming forth since his body was found last September in Larry’s RV lot.
Law enforcement is now looking at surveillance footage showing a 4 door passenger car pulling up and sitting in a company lot.
Lt. Brad Penas of Moorhead Police Department said, “Not knowing if this vehicle is or is not involved, not knowing if this person is a witness, we’re just trying to gather any information that that person in that vehicle may or may not have as a result of this investigation.
This mysterious vehicle is right around the corner where Bearson’s body was found in the RV lot, this is only one lead to the case.
Fargo and Moorhead Police say they are waist deep in leads and must take every one into consideration.
Bearson’s autopsy report is being kept quiet since this is a sensitive case, so we still don’t know exactly how he died. But his toxicology report was released.
Moorhead Police Department’s Lt. Tory Jacobson “We’re able to provide the information that he did not die as a result of drug overdose or alcohol poisoning.”
The FBI is expected to become involved, but will have to wait till the entire case file is completed by police. Law enforcement says it’s become a personal case.
Fargo Police Department Chief David Todd said, “We develop relationships with families, as we tried to help them through the roller coaster of emotions that surround these investigations.”
This case will continue to be on the front burner for Fargo and Moorhead Police but, no one has been considered a suspect or a person of interest. The motive is also still up in the air.
Police also say they have no information that Bearson was working as a confidential informant for any law enforcement agency, like NDSCS student Andrew Sadek did before his body was found in the river.
