NDSU Pest Management App
The NDSU Extension Service is promoting a smart phone and tablet application that could help farmers manage pests.
The app combines three guides published by the Extension Service and puts them in an easy to read format online.
They are promoting the use of the app all around the state.
The guides help manage insects, disease and weeds.
“To meet the needs of the next generation farmers, the next generation consultants it’s a way of you know trying to adopt the mentality of on the go farming and have all the information at your fingertips,” said NDSU Extension Plant Pathologist Andrew Friskop.
The app is available for free on Google Play and the iTunes App Store.
