Major Grand Forks Fire

Fire damages a house in Grand Forks.

It broke out around 5pm Wednesday, at 221 Windward Hills Avenue.

When firefighters arrived, they encountered heavy smoke and fire in the house.More than a dozen firefighters worked to get it put out.

The home sustained major fire and smoke damage to the first and second floors. No one was home when the fire broke out.

The cause is being investigated.
