Fire at UND Building Under Construction
Grand Forks firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire at a building under construction at UND.
Firefighters evacuated UND’s athletics High Performance Center about 11 Thursday morning while they extinguished smoldering foam insulation on the roof.
No one was hurt.
The construction workers were allowed back on scene a couple hours later.
A damage estimate is not yet known.
