Leith, ND Mayor Pleads Not Guilty

Leith Mayor Ryan Schock has entered a not guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of failing to control or report a dangerous fire.

The charge came after city officials tried to clean up dilapidated buildings after their dispute with white supremacist Craig Cobb, who tried unsuccessfully to take over the town.

Leith officials call the charge against Schock a case of “retribution” by the Grant County State’s Attorney.

It’s an accusation the attorney rejects.
