Marijuana Advocate Found Guilty

Convicted Of Possession & Intent To Sell

A jury in Hubbard County has found a marijuana advocate guilty.

David Patterson of Laporte was convicted of possession of marijuana with intent to sell. He was arrested in January 2014 after authorities found seven pounds of marijuana, rifles, a pistol, a digital scale and cash in his house.

According to the criminal complaint, Patterson admitted providing marijuana to people in medical need.

He’ll be sentenced March 30th.
