Former NDSU Football Player Died of Drug Poisoning

A former NDSU football player died from accidental drug poisoning.

State health officials say the autopsy report on Tyler Jangula says he “ingested a lethal quantity and combination of prescription-type drugs.”

His death was ruled accidental.

The 28-year-old died February 1 in his Williston home, after undergoing a surgery on his Achilles tendon.
