Documents Show Sex Tape Was Widely Distributed

We are learning new details about the Thomas Carey and Brandon Smith child porn case thanks to newly filed court documents.

A sex video the hockey players are accused of making with a 15-year-old girl at a Moorhead motel one year ago was distributed to people in several states including Iowa, South Dakota and Pennsylvania.

Prosecutors claim the girl was thrown aside “like garbage” after the video was made.

They are disputing defense attorneys’ claims that the charges should be dismissed for abuse of prosecutorial discretion.

In court documents, they say USHL hockey players are “acutely aware” of a circle of “groupies” who are used by the players to “satisfy themselves sexually” and brag about it.
