Hockey Students In Fargo Give Back

Several high school hockey players in Fargo, along with their coaches present a check to the Lend A Hand program.

The players and coaches raised nearly $27,000 for Lend A Hand; an organization that helps families who are experiencing a medical crisis.

100 percent of the funds will be going to help local families undergoing cancer and other serious medical challenges.

The check was also matched by Dakota Medical Foundation for a total of nearly $54,000.

“I think it’s something that every community needs. To take rival high schools that you know, usually don’t see eye to eye on the ice and get them together so that we can, all come together for a good cause and help families of our communities is really the best thing,” said Fargo North Senior Grayson Klein.

The Lend A Hand Program has helped several Fargo students in the past and they say this was their way to help give back.
