Grand Forks Deputy Chief Retires

After 32 years in the Grand Forks Police Department, the deputy chief is retiring.

The police department held a retirement ceremony for Deputy Police Chief Michael Kirby.

Before joining the department, Deputy Chief Kirby worked at UND for over a year and was in the air force.

He says his favorite part of the job was meeting and helping people in the community.
