Body Found Near Bar Identified
The man found unresponsive outside a downtown Fargo bar and later died, has been identified.
Police were called to the Nestor Sunday morning and found 43-year-old Santino Atem of Moorhead next to the building.
Lifesaving efforts were started and he was taken by ambulance to Sanford where he was pronounced dead.
Police say Atem had not been in the bar.
Lt. Michael Mitchell said “There’s nothing that would lead us to believe that there was foul play. It was relatively cold out so exposure could be a potential.
There are some health things we’re looking into. But our investigators are working in the case to determine where he had been before and what may have led to his death.”
Atem’s body was taken to Grand Forks for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
