Concordia College Symphonia Dessert Pops Concert

The Concordia College Symphonia, under the baton of Jane Linde Capistran and student conductor Jonathan Sutton, will present the Symphonia Dessert Pops Concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 17, in the Centrum, Knutson Campus Center.

The theme is “Dance!” – and will feature works of Saint-Saens, Bizet, Brahms, as well as many others. Special guest dancers will be members of Pempamsie, the African Drum and Dance ensemble, and Bob and Bonnie Hanson-Ames, ballroom dancers.

Concert admission is free, but dessert tickets are available in the music office at Hvidsten Hall until Monday, April 13. The Concordia College Swing Dance Club will give dance instructions after the concert, followed by a dance in the Centrum from 9-10:30 pm. Come to the concert and stay for the dance!
