Many who went to Tuesday night’s Eric Church concert left the show with more than just their concert stubs.
The show which had record breaking attendance resulted in numerous alcohol related citations issued by the U-N-D and Grand Forks police.
Twenty-nine people were cited for underage drinking.
The police unit explains that the majority of tickets that were issued were not residents living in Grand Forks.
Daniel Weasel, UND Sergeant: “These aren’t students on our university of North Dakota Campus. A lot of the arrests were from outside communities coming to U-N-D to part take in the concert”
Other violations were issued for fake IDs, domestic violence, and one arrest for assaulting a police officer.
