NDSU Students Discuss Sexual Violence

 Students at NDSU learn about the relationship between alcohol and sexual violence.
 
Presenters at NDSU discussed the social norms regarding sexual behavior and alcohol use in students.

One of the key points highlighted is, if you see something, say something.

The role of alcohol in victim blaming was also discussed.
 
“Our student well–being and safety is paramount here at NDSU and so this topic is very relevant to not only, again promoting that but also preserving it for our students,” said Alcohol and Other Drugs Prevention Coordinator Nicklaus Redenius.
 
At the end of the session, students signed a pledge to take a stand against sexual violence.
