One professional athletic trainer says three moves can improve your swing.

But what’s the secret?

KVRR’s Erin Lisch has more.

A swing like this, it’s no wonder why Jordan Spieth became this year’s Masters champion.

But how can *you* swing like a champion?

Dana Santas, who is a trainer for multiple professional athletes, says there are three basic yoga movements may help you avoid back and knee issues.

And local instructors agree.

Owner of Mojo Fit Studios and yoga instructor Kristen Burbank said”The yoga poses we do are a lot of core building. The foundation comes from building in the core which is back muscle tummy muscle all that will help stabilize the spine.”

The half child’s pose with internal hip rotation, the sphinx and twisting chair are the three moves.

And these types of poses can translate onto the golf course.

High School golfer Joe Cahill says he’ll lift weights but that’s not all.

“I stretch out my abs. I stretch out my back also so I don’t want to end up getting hurt or anything like that like Tiger Woods,” said Cahill.

Some say they’re just too old for yoga.

“When I get up in the morning and get my feet on the floor and my head goes up I’m happy,”said Wally Nord.

But according to yoga instructors; they say if your 18 or even 85, you can do yoga at any age.

With a passion for the game and a few extra moves, some think they can knock out the top dogs like Spieth.

“As Jordan, I think I could be as good as him when I’m his age,”said Cahill.
