Hundreds Gather for Barway Collins’ Funeral

Hundreds of people gathered for the funeral for a slain 10–year–old boy whose body was found in the Mississippi River.

There were more people than chairs at Shiloh Temple in north Minneapolis for Barway Collins’ funeral.

Representatives with the church said they had the capacity to seat 1,500 people.

Barway’s father, Pierre Collins, is charged with second–degree murder in the boy’s death.

Prosecutors suspect the boy was killed for insurance money.

He has denied any wrongdoing.
