Shultis Resigns as Head Boys’ Basketball Coach at Fargo North

Fargo North Varsity Boys’ Basketball Head Coach Dan Shultis resigned after eleven years on Friday, the school announced in a press release.

Shultis, who took the job before the 2004-2005 season, led six teams to State Tournament appearances, and won a State Championship in 2006.

According to the school, Shultis will stay on staff as a P.E. teacher. The school also announced that the driving force behind Shultis’s decision was the desire to spend more time with his wife and three young sons.
