Grafton Woman Pleads Not Guilty to Locking Children in Dog Cages
A Grafton woman accused of locking four kids in a dog cage pleads not guilty.
23-year-old Jordan Nelson appeared in court in Walsh County on four counts of felony abuse and neglect of a child and felonious restraint.
Prosecutors say Nelson punished the kids of a woman she lives with by locking them in a cage in the basement and shutting off the lights.
One child told police that Nelson forced her brother to eat dog food.
A jury trial has been set for September 29th.
