South High School Auto Show & Art Festival
South High School is getting students ready for finals with a festival. The school hosts its 11th Annual Auto Show and Art Festival.
More than 50 vehicles from both staff and students filled up the parking lot and the best entries won prizes.
ATV’s, trucks, motorcycles and classic cars were all on display.
One student who has worked in the Skills USA program says students look forward to the days’ events.
“This day is very special for students kind of just to get out of the classroom. It’s the day before finals, it kind of just helps them de-stress and help them see what other students bring to the table, see what other students’ interests are,” says Amanda Sattler, a senior at South High School.
The school also had more than 200 art displays across the South High Commons.
