Two More Arrests in Weekend Bar Assault

Two more suspects have been arrested for an assault outside two Fargo bars that left a man with serious head injuries.

Fargo Police say Jason Oien of Fargo and Nicholas Morris of Denver were arrested for aggravated assault.

Two other suspects, Jessy Olson and Scott Moen of Fargo, appeared in court Wednesday on aggravated assault charges and had bail set at $500,000 each.

Police say the men punched and kicked Joey Gaarsland in the parking lot between Rick’s Bar and Speck’s Bar early Sunday morning.

Gaarsland’s wife Laura was also assaulted and knocked unconscious.
