NDSU Hosts Residence Hall Conference
NDSU served as an example for more than two thousand national and international school representatives.
North Dakota State University is hosting the annual Residence Hall Conference.
The conference advocates for the interest and safety of residence hall students and provides opportunities for growth.
International countries such as Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates and Africa were welcomed to the conference.
The event is a way to improve resident halls back in their home countries.
Monica Viaschalkwyk, a student from South Africa Northwest Province, says “I think it’s amazing to come to a different country, different culture, different language and see how they do it and make sure that we align the basic standards and improve and make sure that we get the best possible improvement for our students and the best possible opportunity for students to grow as leaders”
The last time this event was hosted in North Dakota was in 1992 at UND.
