Teen Dies After Collapsing During Baseball Game

A 15-year-old Bemidji baseball player who was taken to the hospital after collapsing during a game has died.

Zacharie Schaubhut (SHAOWB-HUT) was pitching in the game when he was struck by the ball.

According to the Bemidji Police Department, Schaubhut collapsed and was then taken to a Bemidji hospital and then later died.

Friends and family are remembering the teen on the Bemidji Youth Baseball League facebook page.
