Area Pools Get Ready For A Summer Splash

Outdoor pools in the F–M area gear up to make a summer splash.

West Fargo’s Veterans Memorial Pool will open to the public on Monday June 1.

Other pools set to open on that same day include Fargo’s Island Park Pool, Madison Pool and Splash Pad, Northside Recreational Pool, Southwest Recreational Pool and Davies Recreational Pool.

At any given time during a summer day, 277– people fill the West Fargo pool which offers more than just swimming.

West Fargo Park District Jamie Olson says, “It’s got two one enclosed slide, one open slide, kiddies slides, mushroom, water bar bubblers, outside showers. Our goal is to get people through the building and onto the deck into the sun to have some fun.”

Moorhead outdoor pools are scheduled to open on June 6 and Dilworth’s on June 7.

Admission rates for children 18 and under is $2.20 and adults is $3.25.

Pools with waterslides will charge $3.25 for all ages.
