NDSU’s Bug Man Visits Centennial Elementary

Second grade students at Centennial Elementary School are getting to experience camp, right in their classroom.

NDSU’s “Bug Man” paid a visit to the students at the school showing off many of his insects.

This camp activity ties in with the student’s lessons on insects.

Some of the bugs showed include spiders and caterpillars.

Ashley Steiner, 2nd Grade Teacher: “I just think it’s a memorable tradition for the class, and I think it’s good for just responsibility and to gain respect for certain kinds of activities.”
 
The camp goes through tomorrow.
Activities include creative writing, crafts and a scavenger hunt.
