State Leaders Kick Off Special Olympics At Luncheon
State leaders help kick off the North Dakota Special Olympics with a luncheon.
Leaders met at Microsoft in Fargo to learn how the event will help benefit those with intellectual disabilities.
Some of those who showed up include Lieutenant Governor Drew Wrigley and U.S. Congressman Kevin Cramer.
The North Dakota Special Olympics take place this Friday and Saturday at Davies High School.
Over 550 athletes are expected to participate.
