RibFest Goers aren’t Stopped by Rain

Rain or shine, the ribs are still cooking at this year’s Ribfest.

Workers were sweeping away puddles while festival goers put on their ponchos.

Snacking under tents and waiting in wet lines, hundreds packed the Fargodome parking lot despite the downpour.

With cheese curds, deep fried Oreos, and fresh ribs, it’ll take more than rain to send these people home.

“Free parking, free admission, no lines, you know this beats a sunny day any day,” laughed Brandon Moser.

And the votes are in!

This year’s Critic’s Choice Award winner is once again Porky N’ Beans.

The company from Port Saint Lucie, Florida will take home the $2500 first place prize.
