Metro Tech Camp For School Administrators

More than 500-school administrators in the region are learning how to utilize technology in their classrooms.

The 2015 Metro Tech Camp in Fargo is a three day event designed to connect teachers and administrators sharing 21st century instructional strategies.

The camp is put on as a collaborative effort among area public schools in the metro.

Educators are introduced to new software applications, and tools that will enhance learning in their classrooms.

“Mindset shift where teachers empower students to share their learning in ways that are meaningful to them. The standard assessment of paper pencil test standard assessments that are paper based may not work for every student,” said Ed Mitchell Director of Technology at West Fargo Public Schools.

The camp agenda includes 195-breakout sessions facilitated by area teachers, and 16 self-guided virtual sessions taught online.

The camp wraps up Thursday.
